Welcome to ellevate. I am Cherie Jones, the owner of this wellness and beauty company. I chose the name “ellevate” for my heart-centered work for two reasons. First, I love people, places, and things that have a high vibe and I wanted to support others who want to raise their own vibration; so, the word “elevate” seemed perfect. Secondly, my Reiki healing strengths are centered around my innate personal energy qualities of deep love, truth, wisdom, clarity, and healing; and, because love and healing are considered feminine energy qualities, I chose to use the French word “elle” which represents the feminine pronoun of she/her. So began “ellevate” and my quest for more beauty and love in my life.
I got my first exposure to essential oils in 2005 and fell deeply in love. The aroma is the first thing that gets you. And I had always been sensitive to chemicals and RX’s, even as a child, so I was ecstatic about finding a natural, clean, pure way of supporting my, and my friends’ and family’s, wellness. As I began to meet other “oilers”, and simultaneously began to participate in some Personal Development workshops for self-love and growth, I met many Reiki practitioners and one Master who is still, to this day, my energy mentor. I became a Certified Usui Reiki Master in 2007. I now have many years of experience providing both Reiki healing and coaching services and pure essential oils distribution and consultation to clients from across the local St. Louis area. In 2020, I discovered Beautycounter makeup and skincare that is super clean and is also top quality. I adore Beautycounter’s products and their mission. So this rounded out my “highly vibrating” focus nicely. I have always loved the number 3. I tend to do things in threes. So, Reiki, the best oils, and clean beauty products make for a synergistic experience for me and, I hope, for you.

More About My Reiki Healing Journey
I am a trained and certified Usui Reiki Master. Reiki is a Japanese word for a healing energy modality. The word Reiki means Universal (Rei) Energy (Ki). It is an ancient art of channeling Universal Energy to others who wish to receive this highly vibrating influx of loving, balancing light. In a personal Reiki healing session, I become an open channel from Source to you. You receive this cathartic flow of energy that can clear blocks in your energy matrix and balance your chakras. There are two types of healing in life: Instantaneous and Therapeutic (over time). Most Reiki healing is therapeutic. Having been a participant in two instantaneous healings, I understand that these two events happened when the receiver was facing life or death circumstances and chose life. Only the receiver of the energy drives the healing process. This is a wonderful example of the gift of free will. A Reiki Master has the ability to channel energy that serves the highest good of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies but you still choose what and how much to receive.
A single session – which typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes – can leave you feeling rested, rejuvenated, and relaxed. Many of my clients are dealing with physical or emotional distress and, after a session, they tell me how the energy influx makes them feel balanced, more calm, happier, more loving, and more clarity about their own desires and choices.
What I’ve noticed over the years is that if you’re feeling hyper or stressed out, you generally feel calmer and more perceptive afterward…many of these clients tell me they’re going home to take a nap. If you’re feeling sad or depressed at the start, you might feel some release of those negative feelings (making room for higher thoughts and, therefore, feelings) and more mental clarity…many of those clients tell me they now have the energy to go home and tackle a project they’ve been putting off.
It’s all about bringing balance to your energy field in order to serve your highest good. And what serves your highest good serves everyone’s highest good. Remember that one.
